This two-sided carving/serving board is a piece of art as well as a multifunctional kitchen tool. Its beautiful, solid Vermont maple is pressure-bonded with a high-strength, water-resistant adhesive to protect the wood from moisture, and it also has a natural oil finish. One side of the board has a wedge to grip the poultry or meat while you carve and a deep gravy groove to catch the precious juices. The other side has a wider groove and is for general carving and serving. To extend the life of the board, rub the wood with mineral oil now and again. –Marcela Broussard
