The dome lids snap-on to the top of the pan, providing an upscale food presentation as well as allowing for easy transport. The manufacturer calls these a 9″ square cake pan, based upon the outer width of 8.75″. However if you measure from inside rim-to-rim they are 8″ across (See precise dimensions below).
