A rubberized ring on the base of the bowl prevents slipping as you whisk, beat, or stir. A wide edge on one side of the bowl allows you to properly grip and steady the bowl when beating, and a pouring lip on the other side makes it easy to pour the batter into cake pans. This extra large bowl is suitable for mixing larger quantities of dough or batter and for whipping cream. Not intended for use in microwave or freezer. Heat resistant to 158°F/70C. Resistant to scratches, stains, and odor transfer. Nests with other sizes of Rosti Margrethe mixing bowls.
